I'm finally posting the pics of "Riley's Ripple" the Pink and Brown Ripple I posted below. Miss Riley Elizabeth was born on August 30, 2011 @10:45am. She weighed 8 lbs. 6 oz.and was 21 inches long. Her mommy and daddy are both police officers and I've been friends with her grandmother since we met 11 yrs ago.
I found this ripple on a website after doing a search for a 'baby ripple'. Bev's Baby Ripple Blanket
I wanted something different for Riley because of the colors her mommy chose. Instead of going with light pink, pink and brown I went with a total of 5 shades to keep it from looking like a slice if neopolitan ice cream.
Although I did have to keep fighting the urge to grab a spoon! :)
Welcome!! This is my little place to record and show off my crochet and how it's saving what little sanity I have left. It's also a place for me to 'vent' when something doesn't turn out 'quite right'! :-) I'm really enjoying my crochet again. I can't wait to get home each day to get to my latest "WIP". :)
